Reception of the University Guidance Department at the college
Date : 2023-10-23 Time : 10:30:00Al-Khurma University College received the University Guidance Department at Taif University. They were received by His Excellency the Dean of the College, His Excellency the Vice Dean, and the College Counseling Unit. In his speech, His Excellency the Dean of the College praised that visit and alerted His Excellency to the impact of the counseling process on the student and his academic progress.
In an intervention by His Excellency the College Vice Dean, he focused on the importance of communication between the advisor and the student. The guidance management team met with the students and faculty members and the meeting revolved around the importance of mental health and its impact on students’ academic progress, and the importance of the academic advisor in the student’s academic life.
The college’s academic advising unit also presented some inspiring experiences, including the experience (Together we rise - my teacher is my friend - and the experience like a solid building).
The meeting concluded with the team listening to the proposals submitted by the students and faculty members.
